Job summary

Green Heart Care Pty is seeking casual Disability Support Workers to assist participants in the community and in Supported Independent Living Homes. You will help people with varying needs to engage in life skills and social activities, supporting their independence with a person-centred, respectful approach.

Shifts span seven days with flexibility, and you will work across a range of services to meet participant requests and goals, fostering inclusion and community participation in NSW

Qualifications

• Availability to work at least three shifts per week.
• Drivers Licence.
• First Aid Certificate.
• National Police Check.
• Manual Handling Training.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You.
• NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC).
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Right to Work in Australia.
• COVID-19 Double Vaccination Certification.

About the Role

We are looking for casualDisability Support Workers to work with our participants within the community and Supported Independent Living Homes. The successful applicants will work across a range of services.

We are seeking people who have a genuine desire to support people with disability who have varied support needs across different services. You will be providing opportunities for our participants to experience life and achieve goals through learning new skills and participating in social and recreational activities.

We have a wide range of shifts available across a seven-day roster, so shifts are flexible and so are we. Hours may vary depending on participant demand at individual sites and centres.
