Queensland Government is seeking a Direct Service Team Leader to supervise the day-to-day practice of direct support staff delivering accommodation and respite services to people with an intellectual disability. Qualifikationen

• Possession of a current C class drivers' license.
• Current Apply First Aid Certificate.
• Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent.
• Current NDIS worker screening clearance.
• A minimum of six years relevant experience in providing support to people with an intellectual disability.

Aufgaben

• Encourage teams to identify strategies to ensure continuous improvement of service delivery for people with an intellectual disability.
• You keep yourself and teams informed about and ensure the application of relevant legislative requirements, departmental policies and service delivery practices.
• You plan for and implement regular monitoring and review of systems and processes utilised by support staff within the service delivery environment.
• Can articulate performance standards when providing assessment of direct support staff by providing constructive and incisive feedback about the work practices of individual staff with service delivery and departmental requirements.
• You actively contribute and encourage relevant others to participate in support planning for people with a disability receiving services.
