Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a Disability Support Worker.
• Experience with mental illness and complex behaviours of concern.
• Ability to follow support plans and procedures.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWC, First Aid and CPR.
• Victorian Driver’s Licence and access to a registered vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to participants with complex behavioural needs.
• Support community access and individual goals.
• Assist with manual handling, personal care, and activities of daily living.
• Follow Behaviour Support Plans and Client Care Plans.
• Respond calmly to behaviours of concern and collaborate with the care team.
