Job summary

Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Wyong, NSW, Australia, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults living in group homes to lead independent, empowered lives.

You will provide personal care, support daily routines, help with meals and transportation, and follow person-centred plans. This role requires flexibility across early mornings, day, afternoon/evening shifts and some overnight support.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and make a difference
• NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above) required
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility or transfers
• Ability to work early mornings, day shifts, afternoons/evenings, and awake overnights

The Role

Support adults living in our CPA group home to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. This posting is specifically for our home in Wyong.

Your day-to-day may include:

• Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
• Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making
• Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
• Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
• Building positive relationships with our clients

What You’ll Bring

• Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers
• CPA is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 90213). We offer fully funded nationally recognised qualifications including: CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support
• Ongoing specialist training and skill development
