Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Disability / Mental Health or equivalent (or working towards one).
• Current DHS Working with Children and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Current First Aid/CPR certificates.
• Current SA Drivers licence.
• Health Support Training certificate (Medication, continence, infection control).
• Manual Handling certificate including lifter training.
• NDIS Worker Certificates.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of support services: supervision, mentoring, team meetings, internal training and management of Disability Support Workers.
• Demonstrate Person Centred Active Support, ensuring clients express their individual choice and preference.
• Prepare and manage client daily schedules.
• Collaborate with Client Services Lead to investigate issues, address performance, coach staff and develop capacity within the team.
• Provide direct assistance and support to people with disability when required.
