genU is seeking an Employment Pathways Mentor to work in the Sunshine area. You will support people with disability to achieve employment goals through tailored pathways, mentoring and capacity-building activities from planning through to securing work.

You’ll deliver on-the-job coaching, workplace assessments and post-placement support while maintaining accurate records and complying with regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Certificate IV in disability, community services, employment services or related field required.
• Experience working in disability or a similar field desirable.
• Current first aid + CPR certificate.
• Ability to transport participants with valid driver's license and appropriate insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate required (assistance provided).
• Knowledge of the NDIS and broader disability support sector preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support people with disability to identify and achieve employment goals using a person-centred approach.
• Develop, review and update individualised employment plans with participants and families.
• Deliver capacity-building activities: career planning, job readiness, confidence building, skills development.
• Provide mentoring and on-the-job coaching for volunteering, work experience and paid employment opportunities.
• Conduct assessments, offer post-placement support, and foster employer relationships for sustainable outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with policies and procedures.
