Job summary

Pacific Lutheran College in Caloundra is seeking a Director of Staff, a senior academic leader focused on staff wellbeing, development, appraisal, performance management, policy and compliance, alongside a 0.2 to 0.4 FTE teaching load.

The Director of Staff will lead across five vocational practices within the Administration and Learning Executive, reporting to the Principal, and work with fellow leaders to strengthen the Christian learning community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills to lead staff wellbeing and development.
• Proven ability to manage appraisal and professional learning.
• Understanding of educational policy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff wellbeing initiatives and professional development plans.
• Oversee staff appraisal and performance management processes.
• Develop policy, compliance, and safeguarding practices.
• Collaborate with the Administration and Learning Executive.
• Support teaching load management (0.2–0.4 FTE).
