Job summary

St Joseph's College Gregory Terrace in Spring Hill, Brisbane seeks a Director of Students to provide strategic leadership for behaviour support, pastoral care, student wellbeing and engagement across College life. You will report to the Dean of Students and collaborate with the Pastoral Team.

This full-time Tier 5 Middle Leader role is a 4+4 year appointment under the Enterprise Collective Agreement, commencing Term 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Commitment to pastoral care of students.
• Awareness and understanding of boys' education theories and strategies.
• Substantial knowledge and skills in pastoral and wellbeing program development and data interpretation.
• Ability to build and maintain positive collaborative relationships across the College.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for behaviour support, pastoral care, student wellbeing and engagement.
• Report to the Dean of Students and work with the Pastoral Team.
• Lead program development and oversee wellbeing interventions.
• Ensure compliance with child protection policies and boarding/school Safeguarding requirements.
