The Thoughtful Agency is a digital performance marketing partner for fashion, lifestyle and beauty brands. We drive ecommerce growth through paid social excellence across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and other major platforms.

The Paid Social Director will lead strategy, execution, and commercial impact, mentoring a team and partnering with clients to deliver scalable results while expanding Thoughtful’s market presence.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years experience in paid social / performance marketing within an ecommerce-focused agency.
• Extensive Meta-first growth strategy experience for DTC/ecommerce brands at scale.
• Experience across major platforms (TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit).
• Leadership experience managing paid social teams.
• Strong commercial acumen influencing client growth, retention, and upsell.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve paid social strategy across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and other major platforms with an ecommerce focus.
• Define best-practice frameworks for account structure, creative testing, media scaling, and measurement.
• Lead strategic planning for Tier 1 ecommerce clients.
• Partner with leadership to shape paid social as a core growth driver for the agency.
• Act as senior strategic lead on nominated Tier 1 accounts and drive quarterly business reviews.
• Identify and support upsell opportunities and performance improvements.
• Mentor and develop Paid Social Managers and Specialists.
• Stay ahead of platform changes and testing frameworks across channels.
