AsourDirectorofLibraryServices,youwill:

• Providestrategicleadership,oversight,planninganddecisionmakingforthenationalMCLibraryacrosstheBrisbane,SydneyandPerthcampuseswhileensuringeffectivetranslationoftheseareasintolocalcampusoperations.
• Ensurealignmentofserviceobjectives,standardsandprioritieswithMC’sstrategy,mission,academicprioritiesandoperationalplanswhiledeliveringevidence-informedinsightsandrecommendationstoMCleadership.
• Providepeopleleadershipandsupervisiontofosterapositiveworkingenvironmentandbuildcollaborativerelationshipsacrosscampuseswhileleadingworkforceplanning,recruitmentandprofessionaldevelopment.
• HoldaccountabilityforLibrarypolicies,governance,risks,andcompliancewithregulatory,copyrightandprivacyrequirementsandstandards.
• ManagetheLibrarybudget,providingstrategicoversightofexpenditureandresourceallocationtosupportteaching,learningandresearch.
• Coordinateday-to-dayLibraryoperationstomaintainhighlevelsofserviceandresponsivenesstocampus,student,andstaffneeds
• Thiscanbeapart-timeorfull-timerole,30.4–38hours/week.
• Remuneration:$83,829/year(4days)–$104,786/year(5days)excl.12%Superand17.5%annualleaveloading.
