Western Sydney University invites applications for the role of Head of Indigenous Future Students Engagement at the Hawkesbury campus. This is a full-time, ongoing position (HEW Level 9) with a salary of $139,747–$149,238 per year plus 17% superannuation and leave loading.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity required.
• Significant experience in Indigenous engagement, education or student recruitment.
• Proven ability to lead Indigenous engagement or pathway programs with measurable outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of Indigenous education and communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Indigenous engagement and recruitment strategy across schools and communities.
• Oversee the prospective student journey from early engagement to enrolment.
• Provide strategic oversight of programs such as Pathways to Dreaming and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Entry Program.
• Build culturally responsive partnerships and report on performance to senior stakeholders.
• Manage resources and risk while using data to improve outcomes.
