Job summary

Council Jobs is seeking a Project Director, Facilities and Asset Management to lead the facilities and asset management workstream for transitioning public housing repairs and maintenance. You will drive delivery outcomes, manage workstream planning, resources, risks and dependencies, and ensure robust governance and assurance arrangements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 10 years of engineering experience.
• Architecture degree with 10 years of architecture experience.
• Project Management qualification with 10 years of project management experience (CPPD/CPPE) or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in project management.
• Significant experience in managing housing infrastructure projects/programs.
• Knowledge of ACT Government procurement and budget processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities and asset management workstream for transition of public housing repairs and maintenance.
• Demobilise the Total Facilities Management Agreement and ensure service continuity.
• Oversee quality and integrity of contractor data and performance metrics.
• Provide strategic and technical advice to executives and governance bodies on transition and operating arrangements.
