SCEGGS Darlinghurst in Sydney seeks a Director of Administration, a full-time permanent role commencing January 2027. You will oversee all administrative functions, lead a busy team, and coordinate schoolwide events within a Christian ethos.

We are seeking an innovative, accomplished and strategic leader for this full time, permanent role to commence in January 2027.
The Director of Administration oversees the full range of administrative functions and the organisation of the school, and, as part of the School Executive, works collaboratively in managing whole school programs. Reporting to the Head of School, they will be responsible for a broad range of administrative services in the school, including weekly newsletters, information on the school website, school reports and references, examinations, diaries, staff handbooks and broader policies and procedures. They will take the lead in organising a broad range of large schoolwide events such as our Easter and Christmas Services, Speech Days, Foundation Day and our biennial Spring Fair.
The Director of Administration is responsible for leading a team of administrative and reception staff in long term administrative organisational planning. They will enjoy managing a busy team-based environment, regularly liaising with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and generally ensuring that broader administrative functions support the whole organisation, Kindergarten to year 12.
This position requires outstanding administrative abilities, superior written and oral communication skills, attention to detail and a flexible approach to problem solving in a high-volume customer service role with staff, students and their parents. Strong technological skills and an eye for procedural improvements to promote efficiency are desired.
