Qualifications

• A professional engineer or technologist committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Innovative practitioner capable of secure‑by‑design technology protection approaches.
• Experience in Engineering, Cyber, Security, Procurement, and Business management.
• A leader who can manage a small expert team across Defence, Government and Industry stakeholders.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Positive Vetting security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Directorate of Materiel Protection and develop, implement and oversee policy and technology programs.
• Coordinate and integrate Electronic, Cyber and Systems Engineering processes across new and developing technology programs.
• Engage with Defence, Agencies, and Industry to deliver outcomes and manage stakeholders.
• Foster culture, lead reviews and manage a small expert team across engineering, technology and security.
