Job summary

Raytheon Australia seeks a Principal Systems & Cyber Security Specialist to shape the cyber security posture across Defence programs. You will translate complex requirements into artefacts and assurance activities, working with Defence stakeholders and customers, with regular travel.

The role requires extensive experience in cyber security and systems engineering, knowledge of PSPF, DSPF, ISM, and the ability to lead CSAA activities and deliver secure-by-design outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in cyber security, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of the PSPF, DSPF, and ISM.
• Demonstrated experience leading Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation (CSAA) activities and developing security artefacts (SSPs, SSP-As, SRMPs, IRPs, CMPs, SAPs, POAMs).
• Experience applying governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) in complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted cyber security advisor to internal program teams and Defence stakeholders.
• Influence system and solution design to achieve secure-by-design outcomes.
• Lead CSAA activities across Defence programs.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate security requirements throughout the capability lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and assurance artefacts for Defence authorisation.
• Drive governance, risk, and compliance outcomes in line with Defence frameworks.
• Engage with Defence stakeholders and authorisation authorities.
