Job summary

The Australian Department of Defence – Harman ACT is seeking an APS 4-5 ICT Security Specialist to protect Cyber Defence Systems Directorate’s information systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will implement and maintain security controls, manage risk, incident response, security monitoring and compliance with Australian Government requirements.

• Experience identifying, analysing, and responding to security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to provide practical security advice to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles and risk management requirements.
