Shaw Talent partners with an award-winning, employee-owned engineering consultancy at a pivotal growth phase in Australia. Based in Sydney, this Director, Building Services (Electrical) role leads the Electrical team and shapes culture across projects and clients.

You will work alongside the NSW Office Director, drive performance, mentor senior engineers, and maintain strong senior relationships to support business growth while ensuring delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years' experience in building services engineering within a consulting environment.
• Australian market experience and credibility across multi-disciplinary delivery.
• Proven leadership at Principal/Director level with hands-on project, people and client work.

Responsibilities

• Assist NSW Office Director in leading the Sydney team and oversee Electrical team's performance.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project delivery at Project Director level on complex work.
• Balance people leadership, client leadership and project leadership.
• Maintain visible office presence and develop senior engineers for future leaders.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to winning work.
