Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Nominated Supervisor - Director for the Springwood Early Learning service. You will lead a team of qualified educators, oversee operations for quality compliance, and drive curriculum decisions to foster belonging and wellbeing.

This permanent full-time role sits within a service operating 7am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with a generous salary package including a Director’s Allowance and salary packaging options.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Nominated Supervisor.
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards and early childhood best practice.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to Uniting’s values: Compassionate, Respectful, Bold and Imaginative.
• Current NSW WWCC Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a dedicated team of educators.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards.
• Foster inclusive, respectful relationships with children, families and the community.
• Guide curriculum decisions that promote belonging, wellbeing and curiosity.
• Champion continuous improvement through the Quality Improvement Plan.
• Manage Service Budgets and Rosters.
