Job summary

Woongarrah ELC in Gosford NSW is seeking a Centre Director for a 6-month contract to lead our early learning service, drive excellence in care and education, and manage daily operations.

You will oversee compliance with the NQF, mentor educators, build relationships with families and the local community, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment.

Required Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care, leadership experience, WWCC, and First Aid/CPR training.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Leadership experience within a childcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

About the Role
As the Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall management of the service, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) while creating a positive and supportive environment for children, families, and educators. You will lead by example, mentor your team, and ensure the service operates at the highest standard.
