Job summary

The Creche and Kindergarten Association (C&K) is seeking a Centre Director for our 57‑place Newmarket service in Queensland. You will lead a safe, supportive learning environment and oversee daily operations, mentoring educators and building strong partnerships with families.

With ACECQA‑approved ECE degree and Nominated Supervisor experience, you’ll drive high quality education, safety compliance and continuous improvement. 40‑hour week, monthly RDO, and rewards apply.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• National Child Safety Training Foundation Certificate desired.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis certifications required.
• Blue Card or Exemption, Police Check current.
• Knowledge of NQF, EYLF and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.

As our highly respected Centre Director at C&K Newmarket, you'll lead a safe, supportive and inspiring learning environment for children, families, educators and the broader community. Through your leadership, expertise and passion for early childhood education, you'll foster a culture where everyone feels valued, connected and empowered to thrive.

Leading our 57-place early learning centre, you'll be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You'll inspire and mentor a dedicated team of educators, build strong and meaningful partnerships with families, and champion a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

• An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Experienced Nominated Supervisor highly desirable
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training - Foundation Certificate
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
