Job summary

The Creche & Kindergarten Association (C&K)Birralee Centre in Ferny Hills, QLD is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to lead daily operations, mentor staff, and strengthen relationships with families. This role supports Tanya and a dedicated team in delivering high-quality early childhood education in a warm, inclusive environment.

Permanent full-time with 8-hour days, Monday to Friday and a monthly rostered day off, offering a competitive hourly rate of $40.90–$42.23 plus super.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence study toward this qualification
• National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Blue Card or Exemption Card
• Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain)

As Assistant Director, you'll play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the centre, supporting quality educational programs, mentoring educators, building strong relationships with families, and helping to foster a positive team culture. • A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a willingness to commence studying towards this qualification.

• A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
