Job summary

C&K Clinton Community Childcare Centre in Queensland is seeking a dedicated Lead Educator to support and guide children’s learning and development in a nurturing play-based environment.

Permanent full-time role (40 hours/week) with one RDO per month, shifts across 6am–6pm, and opening/closing duties. You’ll work with the team to uphold child safety and Circle of Security practices, delivering high-quality early education.

Qualifications

• Circle of Security framework experience.
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
• National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide children’s learning and development.
• Collaborate with team to create a safe, engaging play-based environment.
• Open and close shifts as part of a 40-hour work week.

As one of our highly valued Lead Educators, you’ll support and guide children’s learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.

C&K Clinton is a 5-room centre with little community members aged from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our centre boasts a beautiful yarning circle in our expansive outdoor play area where our children can explore different textures and environments.

Our Director, Kelly, brings 8+ years of experience with C&K, including time at our Brisbane centres. With her leadership and our team's dedication, we strive to offer the best education and care for our littlest community members.

Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.

The role:

• Permanent Full Time 40 hours a week with 1 RDO per month
• Shifts anywhere between 6 am to 6 pm
• Opening and Closing shifts
• Experience with Circle of security framework

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
