Job summary

C&K Hughenden Community Childcare Centre is seeking a Director to lead a safe, engaging environment for children and families. You will drive a culture where everyone belongs, grows and thrives while upholding child safety and quality standards.

The role offers a permanent full-time position starting January 2027, with leadership responsibilities and opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to community impact.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Approved Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid/CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.

What you’ll bring

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

• An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent with experience in a similar leadership role
• Approved Child Protection Training or the willingness to obtain.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
• Completion of Foundations of Child Safety training (Geccko)
