Job summary

BaptistCare in Melbourne is seeking a Direct Care Coordinator to optimise rostering for our aged and community care teams. You will be the first point of contact for direct care staff and external providers, delivering timely support and arranging rosters aligned with service needs and staff capabilities.

Qualifications

• A positive can-do attitude with ability to engage with a range of customers and staff.
• Demonstrated rostering capabilities (in aged care advantageous)
• Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
• Rostering systems Kronos (UKG), Alayacare, HumanForce or other rostering systems
• In Home Rostering knowledge highly regarded.
• Knowledge of the SCHADS award - desirable but not essential

The Role:

Our Direct Care Coordinators develop, manage, and deliver optimised rosters for our workforce:

• First point of contact for Direct Care delivery staff, service brokerage providers and external agencies
• Provide timely and customised support to our aged care customers
• Rostering staff whilst considering customers unique service requirements and staff skills sets, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
