Job summary

SDN Paddington is seeking a Diploma-qualified Senior Educator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week across five days. Initially, this role will be a floating position supporting all rooms, providing programming support, lunch cover and assistance across the service as required with the potential to transition into a permanent room with fixed shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior educator who enjoys variety, building relationships

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Child protection training and commitment to child safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming support, lunch cover and daily operations assistance across rooms.
• Potential to transition into a permanent room with fixed shifts.
• Deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with EYLF and NQS.
• Drive observation, documentation and reflective practices to enhance outcomes.
• Develop meaningful relationships with children and families across the centre.
• Create safe, stimulating environments supporting all areas of child development.
• Support daily operations, routines and wellbeing practices.
