Job summary

Belmont Community Child Care Centre in Belmont, NSW, is seeking a vibrant Diploma Educator to join our community-based not-for-profit team. Start as soon as possible and contribute to high-quality education and care while upholding child-safety standards.

The successful applicant will hold a Diploma in Early Education and Care or equivalent, work between 7:15am and 5:45pm, and collaborate with staff to plan learning experiences and maintain development records. WWCC and First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Education and Care or equivalent required.
• Experience in planning, programming and writing children's learning/development records.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and mentor others.
• Current WWCC, First Aid and approved Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Flexible start and finish times and availability between 7:15am and 5:45pm.

Daily centre cleaners

2 weeks closure at Christmas/New Year and 2 child free set up days in January.

Located in the Belmont area, we are a community based, long day-care centre which is well-established and known for its commitment to providing high quality Education and Care programs. We are currently seeking a vibrant and passionate educator to join our professional Education and Care team.

The successful applicant will be an experienced educator and hold a Diploma in Early Education and Care or equivalent.

This position will be to start as soon as possible.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

Experience as a room leader is desirable however this position is not a room leader position currently.

Experience with planning, programming and writing children's learning and developmental records.

Ability to work effectively as a team member and mentor others

Energetic, reliable and fun

Able to be flexible with start and finish times at short notice

Be available to work between 7:15am and 5:45pm

Current WWCC

Current First Aid, approved Asthma, Anaphylaxis Certificates

Completed Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Education and Care
