Job summary

Learning Ladder Early Learning Centres Watsonia VIC is seeking a Diploma Educator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. The role runs Monday to Friday, up to 37.5 hours per week with shifts across opening and closing times from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

You will deliver an inclusive, engaging learning program, build strong relationships with children and families, and uphold health and safety policies. Diploma in Child Services and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• Sound understanding of EYLF and NQF.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid.
• Geccko/ National Child Safety training is preferred.
• Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications are advantageous.

• Create and maintain an inclusive, safe and engaging learning environment.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Ensure health, safety and centre policies meet licensing and regulatory requirements.

Learning Ladder ELC Watsonia is committed to providing excellence in high-quality care for children and families, which in turn shapes each child's future and lays the foundation for success in their learning and development. We are currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Diploma Educator to join our team!

This is a permanent Part Time position to work Monday - Friday, up to 37.5 hours per week!

Our centre is open from 6:30am - 6:30pm, this position must be flexible to work opens or closing shifts!

About your new role:

Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment.

Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.

Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations.

Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.

You will implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.

A little about you:

Diploma qualification (or studying towards) in Children's Services as approved by ACECQA.

Current Working with Children Check, approved First Aid, National Child Safety (Geccko) Training, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.

Experience in an early childhood setting.

A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
