Job summary

Malek Group Edmondson Park is seeking a passionate Diploma Educator to join our family-run early education centre. You will mentor and support educators, helping plan daily activities and ensure a warm, inclusive environment for children and families.

The successful candidate will understand EYLF and NQS, possess strong communication skills, and contribute to a team that values work/home balance, professional development, and a commitment to child safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ECEC setting.
• Working with Children Check is mandatory.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management qualifications are required.
• Child Protection training completed.
• Submit an up-to-date resume.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children in daily indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Attend to children's physical, hygiene, and emotional needs respectfully and culturally.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by following hygiene, housekeeping and WHS practices.
• Observe and document children's development and behaviour to support individual needs and program planning.
• Support the implementation of educational experiences and assist in setting up play and learning areas.
• Communicate effectively with families and collaborate with colleagues to foster a caring, inclusive environment.
• Participate in research projects, professional development and centre events.

Our beautiful 80 place Early Education Centre is looking for an passionate and dedicated full time Diploma Educator to join our wonderful team at Edmondson Park.
