Job summary

Mini Masterminds Box Hill is seeking a Diploma Educator to join our team on a full-time, 4‑day week. You will deliver play-based learning, support children's development, and build strong relationships with families in a safe, inclusive environment.

Monday–Thursday shifts, 10 hours, with leadership opportunities when the Room Leader is absent. We value dedicated educators with ACECQA‑approved Diploma, WWCC, First Aid/CPR, and EYLF/NQS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Available to work Monday–Thursday, with 10 hour shifts.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Current Child Protection training/certificate.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Diploma Educator to join our team at Mini Masterminds Box Hill (84-place centre).

About the Role

As a Diploma Educator, you will work collaboratively with your team to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child's learning, development, and wellbeing.

You will build meaningful relationships with children and families while contributing to a positive, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
• Available to work Monday–Thursday, with the flexibility to work 10 hour shifts
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Current Child Protection training/certificate
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood education
• Preferably 1+ years’ experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
• Act as the Responsible Person, ensuring the centre operates safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Take responsibility for opening and closing shifts, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre
• Step into a leadership capacity when the Room Leader is absent, providing guidance and support to the team and ensuring the room continues to operate effectively
