Job summary

East Side Little Learners Childcare in Bundaberg East (QLD) seeks Diploma and Certificate III Educators to join a family-owned centre. You will assist a room to deliver a play-based program and contribute innovative ideas to support children's learning and development.

Ideal candidates hold Diploma or are working towards, with experience across age groups and strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and child protection principles. First Aid/CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training are essential.

East Side Little Learners Childcare – Bundaberg East QLD

We are seeking Exceptional Diploma and Certificate 3 of Early Childhood Educators for our Family Owned Centre located in Bundaberg East.

Eastside Little Learners is seeking Diploma and Certificate 3 Educators for our centre. We are looking for people who are warm, caring and respectful of children's needs and the environment in which they learn. This role will see you assisting a room with fellow educators to deliver a play-based learning program. We are seeking new and innovative ideas from you and you will be encouraged to share and implement these ideas.

As a member of our team you will possess the following attributes:

• Diploma qualification or Certificate 3 (equivalent or working towards)
• Experience with a variety of age groups
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standard and National regulations.
• Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Demonstrated ability to work in partnerships with families.
• Demonstrated professional level of written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children.

You will be able to assist whilst providing a program that enables children to develop their own working theories around them, through intentional teaching, spontaneous opportunities and through play. You will provide a creative environment that engages children and encourages them to investigate, explore and extend on their current skills.

Candidates must possess the following:

• Relevant Qualifications(or working towards)
• First Aid and CPR certificates
• Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
