Job summary

Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Andergrove is seeking Certificate or Diploma Educators (Casual) to join our friendly team. You will support a classroom, engage with children and families, and partner with educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences on an ongoing basis in a vibrant Mackay region centre.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, have blue card and basic first aid/anaphylaxis/asthma qualifications, and demonstrate EYLF/NQF knowledge.

Qualifications

• Certificate III, Diploma or higher qualification in Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA.
• Current blue card, approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
• Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assist in supporting a classroom by effectively engaging with children, families, Educators, and the wider community.
• Network with relevant stakeholders in the local community.
• Contribute to the documentation of the children's skills andinterests,and include a clear cycle of reflective practice.
• Work in compliance with Government regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet our high-quality standards.
