Job summary

JD Sports Head Office in Sydney seeks a Support Engineer - Digital to maintain the reliability of our Shopify Plus ecosystem and related services across APAC. You will resolve incidents, perform root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvements that enhance performance for customers worldwide.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering and Digital Ops, monitor platforms, assist with releases and contribute to operational playbooks to sustain high availability in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting Shopify Plus or similar eCommerce platforms.
• Experience in production support with high availability.
• Retail/eCommerce or omnichannel exposure preferred.
• Experience working across distributed teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support across JD APAC digital platforms.
• Monitor service health and customer journeys to identify issues.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production incidents.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Support releases with testing, deployment and post-release monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Ops teams.
