Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a digital content specialist to coordinate publishing of customer‑centric content across departmental websites and intranet using web CMSs. You will provide design guidance to improve editorial usability and accessibility, and oversee incoming online support requests with timely actioning.

***Applications are open for Queensland Government Employees only***Applications from contractors or labour hire will not be acceptedYour part in the ongoing success of our department, in supporting key frontline services will see you responsible for a variety of work, including, but not limited to:* Coordinate the publishing of customer-centric content on departmental websites and intranet using a range of web content management systems.* Provide expert design advice to improve editorial, usability and accessibility of website and intranet content and other digital platforms.* Oversee and coordinate incoming online support requests and emails received through team mailboxes to ensure accurate and timely actioning.* Conduct usability and accessibility testing, create data and insights reports and assist in customer research activities to improve end-user satisfaction.* Contribute to the planning and execution of projects and activities within the Online team, including external and internal communications.* Provide coordination and operational support to Executive Manager regarding the reporting of digital initiatives and activities.* Contribute to improving team processes and planning activities, develop training materials and deliver training to internal content owners, producers and authors reinforcing best practice approaches.* Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and develop strategies to optimise service delivery.Highly desirable requirements* Experience with Squiz Matrix and Drupal CMS, Form IO, SharePoint, Google Analytics, and other web technologies.* Experience creating high-quality customer-centric digital services that comply with mandatory digital services standards and are based on best practice.For further information regarding the role or to apply please click on the APPLY ONLINE button below.Applications to remain current for 12 months.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
