Job summary

Aecom Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled airport engineering professional to join our ANZ Aviation team in Melbourne. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, coordinate digital delivery, and support BIM standards across projects from design to handover.

You'll work in a hybrid environment with flexible hours, collaborating with planners, engineers and digital delivery specialists to meet budgets and schedules while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and coordinating digital delivery on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of BIM processes.
• Proficiency with ProjectWise, BIM 360 / ACC, and Navisworks Manage.
• Experience in design, planning and construction support of civil engineering and aviation projects.
• Knowledge of Civil Aviation standards and recommended practices (CASA, ICAO, EASA, CAA, FAA, MAA).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons and lighting.
• Produce high-quality 2D drawings and data-rich digital deliverables.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain models and project documentation within ProjectWise and ACC, supporting BIM delivery.
• Take responsibility for timely and accurate delivery of tasks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across ANZ and engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Undertake model validation, design coordination and clash detection while maintaining QA processes.
