Job summary

Infrastructure Canberra is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to deliver high-quality digital content across internal and external channels for multiple infrastructure projects. The role focuses on audience-first content creation, coordinated through the Foundational Communications team under the Assistant Director.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in researching, producing, writing and publishing digital communications materials, taking an audience-first lens to content creation, informed by research and insights.
• Proficiency using a range of digital platforms for creating and publishing content, including Squiz Matrix, SharePoint, Campaign Monitor and Canva.
• Proficiency using graphic design and video production tools such as InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
• Demonstrated experience in photography and video production.
• Be able to demonstrate initiative, meet deadlines and juggle priorities under limited supervision, while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Research, produce and publish digital communications materials and content with an audience-first approach.
• Coordinate digital content requests, website updates and production of photos, video and website content in partnership with portfolio communications leads and brand guidelines.
• Identify, coordinate and produce proactive content for use across digital channels, including internal newsletters and forums.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the Assistant Director, Foundational Communications on team tasks and priorities and undertake other duties as required.
• Support the Public Information Coordination Centre (PICC) during Territory emergencies.
• Adhere to ACTPS values and codes of conduct, modelling RED framework.
