Job summary

Infrastructure Canberra is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to join our busy team and contribute to key activities on infrastructure projects in planning, engagement and delivery phases. You’ll work autonomously but also collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders when required.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a high energy environment and can manage digital content across multiple channels, including publishing and coordination with project teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience researching, producing, writing and publishing digital communications materials.
• Audience-first lens to content creation, informed by research and insights.
• Proficiency with multiple digital platforms for publishing content and assets.

Responsibilities

• Research, produce and publish digital communications materials and content under supervision.
• Coordinate digital content requests, website updates and production of photos/video.
• Identify and produce proactive content for digital channels and newsletters.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support team tasks and priorities and undertake other duties as required.
• Assist during Territory emergencies with the Public Information Coordination Centre (PICC).
• Follow ACTPS values and code of conduct in all communications.
