Job summary

iCBR in Canberra, ACT invites a Senior Project Officer to lead delivery of infrastructure programs for the ACT Government. This full-time temporary role (with potential permanency) focuses on planning, procurement and capital works across education, health and community facilities.

You will work with a skilled team to manage asset delivery, maintenance and procurement processes, with opportunities to progress within a public sector environment and contribute to a vibrant Canberra community.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant professional qualification in Engineering, Architecture or Project Management, or accreditation.
• Hold a relevant building degree.
• Hold a relevant building trade qualification.
• Have significant building or Infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience.
• Asbestos awareness card or a willingness to obtain - Asbestos Awareness Training and evidence of completion delivered by a Registered Training Organisation is required before commencement.
• Hold or have the capacity to obtain Silica Awareness.
• Hold or have the capacity to obtain Work Health and Safety qualifications (Certificate IV);
• Hold a current driver’s licence (car).
