Job summary

Concentrix is seeking a DevOps & Platform Support Engineer to join our ANZ Managed Services & Cloud Engineering team. You’ll be the technical SME and Level 2 owner for a critical production platform, handling incidents, changes and vendor escalations.

You’ll design and build AWS and Azure environments, implement IaC and CI/CD, and drive automation while maintaining runbooks.

This role suits hands-on engineers who own what they build and relish problem-solving in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and developing cloud solutions.
• Hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience.
• Proven IaC and CI/CD experience.
• Strong Linux, networking and scripting (Python/Bash/Node.js).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Production support in managed services/ITIL environment.

We’re growing our ANZ Managed Services & Cloud Engineering team and are looking for a DevOps & Platform Support Engineer who enjoys a mix of hands-on cloud engineering, automation, production support and technical ownership.

This involves standard business hours with a mandatory shared 24x7 on-call rotation and applicable on-call allowance.

The opportunity

This is a dual-focus engineering role.

You’ll be the technical SME and Level 2 support owner for a critical communications platform within a long-running Managed Services environment. You’ll own incidents, problem management, changes, platform health and vendor escalations, while helping ensure the service remains reliable and well supported.

Alongside this, you’ll work across our wider ANZ cloud portfolio, designing and building solutions, improving existing customer environments and delivering AWS and Azure cloud engineering, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and automation.

What you’ll be doing

• Act as the technical SME for a critical production platform and provide Level 2 support.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes and drive preventative improvements.
• Coordinate production changes from impact assessment and approval through to implementation and rollback.
• Work with vendors, customers, engineers and Service Delivery Managers to resolve complex technical issues.
• Design, build and enhance AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, Pulumi or similar.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Support cloud applications, containers and production environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to improve platform reliability.
• Maintain runbooks, technical documentation and knowledge across the team.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience designing and developing cloud solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
• Strong Linux, networking and scripting skills, ideally with Python, Bash or Node.js.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging and observability tools.
• Production support experience in a managed services, ITIL or enterprise environment.
• Understanding of incident, problem and change management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical issues.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
• AWS or Azure Associate-level certification or above.

Nice to have

Experience with Amazon Connect, CCaaS, telephony/SIP, ITIL v4, AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Security Specialty would be highly regarded.

You’ll be the primary owner of the platform, but you won’t be the only person who supports it. You’ll work as part of a broader engineering team with backup coverage and shared knowledge.

Due to the nature of the project, you must be based in Australia with full, unrestricted working rights. Australian Permanent Residency is the minimum requirement; Australian Citizenship is preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
