Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a DevOps Platform Engineer to support and automate platform services used by development teams to build, deploy and operate secure applications across shared environments. You will maintain customer environments and support new environments as they are built.

You’ll manage Kubernetes with Rancher, develop robust CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and automate configuration with Ansible and scripting.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes environments, including Rancher or similar platform management tooling.
  • Strong Linux administration experience across enterprise server environments.
  • Experience building, maintaining or troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins.
  • Practical experience with automation and configuration management, including Ansible and scripting.
  • Understanding of containerised application delivery, Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment patterns.
  • Experience with certificate management, access controls and secure platform practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication and prioritisation skills across distributed teams.

Your New Role and Responsibilities

What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact
