Job summary

Telstra is seeking an IT Project Technician for a fixed-term two-year assignment based at Kemps Creek, Sydney. You’ll stage, configure and commission mobility devices, routers, switches and wireless tech for enterprise deployments, ensuring secure, reliable setup before customer rollout.

Ideal candidates are studying or recently graduated with an interest in IT, networking or cyber security. You will work with a supportive team, follow processes, and develop hands-on skills while delivering

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated with an interest in IT, networking, cyber security, telecommunications or related tech field.
• Enjoys hands-on technical work and learning how devices and systems are set up and supported.
• Strong attention to detail, organized, reliable, and able to follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Stage and configure Android and Apple mobility devices ready for customer use.
• Prepare ICT equipment such as routers, switches, and wireless technology.
• Learn how service requests and incidents are managed within agreed timeframes.
• Collaborate with experienced team members to deliver secure, reliable, high-quality outcomes for customers.
