Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a Team Leader - Development Services to supervise a team of assessment planners and specialists, ensuring timely and accurate evaluation of development proposals. The role emphasizes high-quality customer service and adherence to the Council’s Customer Charter while providing expert guidance to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning or a related field.
• A current Class C Drivers Licence and General Construction Induction Card (NSW).
• Extensive experience in development assessment, particularly in complex matters.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially NSW Land & Environment Court.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and improve processes and procedures.
