Job summary

BrillianTalent is seeking a capable Development Assistant to support the development team on the early stages and delivery of a major Data Centre project. Build exposure to a complex, large-scale initiative while growing with an expanding business.

The role involves feasibility work, planning coordination, and regular liaison with consultants and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property development and strong English communication in a fast-moving environment.

• Research planning controls, infrastructure requirements and market information.
• Assist the Development Manager with stakeholder meetings and day-to-day project priorities.

This is an opportunity for someone with a foundation in property development to gain exposure to a complex, large-scale project and grow alongside an expanding business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development feasibility, site research, project programmes and reporting.
• Help coordinate planning and approval activities, including the preparation and tracking of documents and submissions.
• Liaise with planning, design, engineering and other external consultants to follow up actions and keep information current.
• Maintain project records, meeting notes, consultant deliverables, budgets and key dates.
• Research planning controls, infrastructure requirements and market information.
• Assist the Development Manager with stakeholder meetings, presentations and day-to-day project priorities.

About you

• Approximately 1-3 years of experience in property development, development coordination, town planning or a closely related field.
• Exposure to at least some of the development process, such as feasibility, planning, approvals, consultant coordination or project delivery.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Confident written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate professionally with consultants and stakeholders.
• Organised, curious and able to take initiative in a fast-moving project environment.
• Mandarin Chinese language skills are welcome where useful for communication with project stakeholders.
