Randstad's client, a global luxury property group, seeks a Development Manager to lead high-density residential and mixed-use developments in NSW/QLD. You will oversee acquisition, planning, design, and delivery, coordinating with executive leadership and external teams.
Based in QLD, this permanent full-time position requires 10+ years in Australian property development, with strong planning and financial skills to drive complex projects to completion.

A globally recognized luxury property group is expanding its footprint in Australia, delivering premium high-rise residential and mixed-use developments across NSW and QLD.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Development Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of high-density projects from acquisition and planning through to delivery, handover, and settlement. You will lead a small, growing team and act as the primary link between executive leadership, internal teams, external consultants, and planning authorities.
QLD based (covering NSW & QLD projects)
Permanent, Full-Time (In-Office)
Feasibility & Acquisition: Conduct site due diligence, financial modeling, yield analysis, risk profiling, and investment proposals for key stakeholders.
Planning & Approvals: Manage complex planning approvals (DAs, concept plans, statutory compliance) across NSW and QLD, engaging directly with councils and planning authorities.
Design & Consultant Management: Appoint and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams, driving architectural quality, luxury brand alignment, and buildability.
Budget & Programme: Develop and track project timelines and development budgets, reporting cost variances and performance metrics directly to executive leadership.
Delivery & Sustainability: Champion ESG outcomes (targeting Green Star and NABERS ratings) and work closely with the construction team through to certification and completion.
10+ years' experience in Australian property development, with a track record in high-rise residential or large-scale mixed-use projects (luxury experience highly regarded).
Strong planning expertise across NSW and/or QLD planning frameworks, DA processes, and statutory requirements.
Financial acumen with strong capability in development feasibilities and risk management
Tertiary qualification in Property Development, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
