Job summary

GenusPlus Group in Perth, WA, seeks an experienced Design Manager to lead a design and engineering team through design to construction documentation, driving performance, client relationships and commercial outcomes.

The role requires a Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical engineering degree and 10+ years in design or project delivery, with proven leadership of complex engineering projects and strong buildability, cost planning and tender documentation expertise.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years' experience in design, engineering or client-focused project delivery.
• Proven experience leading design teams and managing complex engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, buildability, cost planning and tender documentation.
• Experience managing project schedules, resources and commercial outcomes.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead a design and engineering team delivering high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions. This role will oversee project delivery from design through to construction documentation, while driving team performance, client relationships and commercial outcomes.
