GenusPlus Group is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer in Perth to lead the design and delivery of high-voltage transmission line projects. You will review complex structural designs and coordinate with electrical, civil and geotechnical teams throughout detailed design to construction.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in transmission line engineering, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with major structural analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the utilities, construction or resources industry, specifically in transmission line engineering.
• Experience in structural design and analysis of overhead transmission line towers, poles or associated structures.
• Experience with structural calculations, loading assessments, member design and verification of deliverables.
• Knowledge of Australian and international structural engineering standards for transmission lines.
• Experience with PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE, STAAD.Pro or SAP2000.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
