Job summary

Clough is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to join its In-House Engineering Design Team in Perth. You will be responsible for delivering technically sound engineering design outputs, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure on-time, cost-effective results, and maintaining compliance with company standards and codes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience in oil & gas, mining/minerals, or infrastructure/utilities.
• Civil engineering degree with professional qualifications.
• Specialist knowledge of local and international codes and standards.
• Experience in engineering contracting or consultancy environments.

Responsibilities

• Deputises for the Chief Discipline Engineer as required.
• Delivers technically acceptable engineering design services for approved work.
• Collaborates with technical specialists to ensure specification compliance and technical integrity of design.
• Prepares, checks and files design information from suppliers and other disciplines.
• Contributes to development, implementation and improvement of systems across the division.
• Manages customer relations to achieve mutually satisfactory and technical program outcomes.
• Liaises with manager to report progress, areas of concern and potential changes.
