Job summary

Mexx Engineering Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of mechanical and mechatronic systems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will perform detailed 3D design and collaborate with engineers across disciplines.

You will lead on-site installations both nationally and internationally, manage multiple projects from concept to completion, and provide post-project customer support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, calculations, and theories.
• Experience with automation/controls or PLC/robot programming is advantageous.
• Experience with Solid Edge or similar 3D CAD software is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Detailed 3D design.
• Work closely with engineers in other disciplines and internal trade staff.
• On-site installations both nationally and internationally.
• Projects from conception to completion.
• Post project customer support.
