Job summary

Perth Airport is seeking a Design Coordinator to support and coordinate design across capital portfolio projects. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with Master Plans and technical requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture/PM, 3–6 years of relevant experience, knowledge of design guides and CAD tools, and strong communication skills to drive high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or project management.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in building, terminal, commercial development and/or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with procedures, design guides and admin practices used on major Australian projects.
• Ability to influence and engage with stakeholders while maintaining commercial awareness.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to produce clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design inputs and reviews with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with scope, schedule inputs, design efficiency and cost-effectiveness in design processes.
• Support technical reviews of design documents by external consultants and contractors.
• Collaborate with Design Manager, Project Manager and team to enable project delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and regulatory codes to support compliance.
