Melbourne City Dermatology operates across two premier clinics in Melbourne’s CBD and Kew, offering patient-centred dermatology services. We seek a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team on a permanent basis, with part-time, full-time or casual arrangements depending on needs.

You will welcome patients, manage bookings, and support the clinicians with friendly, professional care. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in medical reception, familiarity with Genie software, and a calm, proactive

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in medical reception or administration.
• Genie software experience highly regarded.
• Confident with technology and quick to pick up new systems.
• Friendly, professional and patient-focused communication.
• Reliable, well-presented and calm under pressure.
• Able to travel between CBD and Kew clinics.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage phone and email enquiries, appointments and reminders.
• Process accounts, payments and Medicare/DVA/private claims.
• Coordinate referrals, correspondence and patient documentation.
• Support our dermatologists and nursing staff with day-to-day admin.
• Keep the reception area organised, calm and patient-focused.
