Melbourne City Dermatology operates across two premier clinics in Melbourne’s CBD and Kew, offering patient-centred dermatology services. We seek a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team on a permanent basis, with part-time, full-time or casual arrangements depending on needs.

• 1–2 years’ experience in medical reception or administration.
• Genie software experience highly regarded.
• Confident with technology and quick to pick up new systems.

• Reliable, well-presented and calm under pressure.
• Able to travel between CBD and Kew clinics.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage phone and email enquiries, appointments and reminders.
• Process accounts, payments and Medicare/DVA/private claims.
• Coordinate referrals, correspondence and patient documentation.
• Support our dermatologists and nursing staff with day-to-day admin.
• Keep the reception area organised, calm and patient-focused.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced, caring medical receptionist looking for a long-term role with a respected specialist practice?

We’re looking for a Medical Receptionist (part-time or full-time) to join our friendly team and work across both clinics. If you enjoy a collaborative environment and take pride in making patients feel comfortable and looked after, this role could be a great fit.

Location

Because the role covers both our CBD and Kew clinics, it suits someone who lives within easy reach of both, such as in the inner east or inner suburbs. If getting to both the city and Kew is straightforward for you, we’d especially like to hear from you.
